Research into institutuons

One of my tasks that was set to complete my product was to undergo a research into institutions which distribute and publish magazines similar to mine. I decided to do complete research for three different institutions, as this would give me a good insight into what it takes to distribute such product and what the institutions' expectations are.
Some of the questions that have been answered in my research are:

  • What magazines they produce.
  • What demographics they cater for.
  • What other media is owned by the company.
  • Examples of cross-media convergence.
  • And if the company in itself is a subsidiary.
